About this experience
What makes this tour unique is its flexibility. Unlike standard tours with fixed itineraries, you can choose which of Sintra’s magnificent palaces and monuments you would like to visit, whether it's Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, Monserrate Palace, or another attraction of your choice.
You can even visit more than one palace during the same tour. However, please note that spending more time exploring Sintra may reduce the time available for other destinations, such as Cabo da Roca, Cascais, and Estoril.
Depending on your chosen itinerary, you can also discover Sintra’s charming historic centre, admire the dramatic Atlantic views at Cabo da Roca, explore the coastal beauty of Boca do Inferno, and enjoy the seaside atmosphere of Cascais.
Please note: Palace tickets and monument admission fees are not included and must be purchased separately. Lunch and gratuities are also not included.

Itinerary and highlights
A tour designed entirely around your preferences. Unlike standard excursions, our private tours offer total flexibility, allowing you to prioritize the sights that matter most to you.
Whether you dream of the colorful Pena Palace, the mystical Quinta da Regaleira, or any other architectural gem in Sintra (such as Monserrate or the National Palace), the choice is yours ( we accompany you during the visit to the interior of the palaces).
Expert Tip: To ensure a balanced day, we suggest selecting a maximum of two interior palace visits. This allows you to fully enjoy the history without rushing, while still leaving plenty of time to explore the coastal beauty of Cascais and Estoril within the 8-hour duration.
We believe the journey should be as enjoyable as the destination. All our tours are strictly private, ensuring an intimate experience for you and your group.
For groups of more than 4 passengers, we guarantee the comfort and space of a premium Mercedes V-Class or Mercedes Vito.
Pena Palace is one of Portugal’s most stunning landmarks, set high in the hills of Sintra and offering breathtaking views over the region. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a masterpiece of 19th-century Romantic architecture, combining Moorish, Gothic, and Manueline influences in a colorful and dramatic setting.
On this tour, visitors will explore the palace’s grand courtyards, intricate arches, and richly decorated royal rooms, gaining insight into the life of Portuguese royalty. The experience continues with a walk through the lush gardens, where exotic plants, hidden paths, and peaceful lakes create a magical atmosphere.
Sintra is very rich in Palaces, the choice of the palace or palaces to visit is exclusively yours, the guide will give you information about all of them, and together you will decide the most suitable one (s) for you (entrances not include).
