Gourmet Night Tour in Lima: Catacombs and Desserts

Afterward, we will enter the Convent of Santo Domingo, a historical monument that preserves centuries of faith, art, and tradition. Here you will see its majestic Main Altar, its cloisters and gardens, in addition to discovering the importance of the Dominican order in the history of Lima.

Finally, we will visit the House of the Peruvian Saints, a space dedicated to the life and legacy of Saint Rose of Lima, Saint Martin de Porres, and Saint Toribio de Mogrovejo, where you can learn more about their history and observe pieces of sacred art and elements linked to these important figures.

Then we will visit the famous Catacombs of San Francisco, a space full of history and mystery located under one of the most important convents of colonial Lima.

We will continue with a tasting of Pisco Sour, the flag cocktail of Peru, while discovering more about its origin and tradition within Peruvian culture.

After the tour, we will enjoy a gastronomic stop with the traditional churros of San Francisco, an emblematic sweet related to the tradition of the Historic Center of Lima.

Our walk will continue through cultural sites such as the House of Peruvian Literature, the Plaza Mayor of Lima, the Cathedral, the Government Palace, and the Convent of Santo Domingo (exterior view), where you will learn more about the history and important figures of the city.

We will conclude the experience in Chabuca, where we will enjoy a gastronomic route with tastings of traditional Peruvian desserts such as mazamorra morada, arroz con leche, turrón de Doña Pepa, and picarones, flavors that are part of the limeña identity.

At the end, we will make the return to your hotel in Miraflores, Barranco or San Isidro.
