About this experience

Next, we’ll explore the historic center of Lima, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire the elegant Plaza San Martín and the Plaza Mayor, the heart of the colonial city where Lima was founded.
Our journey continues beneath the city, as we descend into the Catacombs of the San Francisco Monastery — an ancient underground cemetery used during the colonial era, where thousands were buried beneath the church in hopes of resting close to God.
