The journey includes short scenic stops, giving you time to take beautiful photos and appreciate the sights — including the six famous bridges that connect the two cities.
After exploring the urban stretch of the river, we head towards the mouth of the Douro, where you'll be surrounded by the natural beauty and calm waters of the Douro Estuary Nature Reserve, a protected area of great ecological value.

Itinerary and highlights
Navigation takes place on the Douro River, departing from the Douro Marina and passing over the Arrábida Bridge, along the riverside areas of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia, to the D. Luís Bridge, where you will make several momentary stops to contemplate the historic landscape and conducting photo sessions. Continuation of the route, passing by the Dom Henrique Bridge, Maria Pia Bridge, São João Bridge and view of the Freixo Bridge.
During navigation, we will pass by the main sights of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia, namely the Crystal Palace and the Alfândega do Porto where numerous exhibitions and concerts take place, the riverside area with its vast historical heritage, the Sé Cathedral, the Clérigos Tower, the Serra do Pilar Convent and the various Port Wine cellars.
Return to Douro Marina after crossing the mouth of the Douro River to observe the beautiful landscape of the Douro Estuary Nature Reserve.
Meeting and pickup information
- Dear guest, we will wait for you on the date and time indicated in the reservation at the following location: in front of the Pontão C gate (located in front of the only cafe in Douro Marina). Please arrive on time as it would be a shame if you missed the tour. See you soon!

- On private tours, set times are flexible. This way, we can try to arrange, if we have schedule availability, a starting time that is compatible with your holiday schedule.
- We advise you to bring sports shoes and a coat, which can always be useful
- The experience will only be carried out if the navigability conditions are favourable. If canceled due to adverse navigability conditions, you will be offered a different date or a full refund.
- On the private tour, only your group will participate.
- If you go to the bow of the yacht, you may be asked to take off your shoes to protect the mattresses and fiber of the boat.
- The experience will have a maximum of 12 participants.
- On private tours, failure to show up at the scheduled time will result in the remainder of the tour time being taken.
- On shared tours, the experience provider reserves the right to start the experience at the scheduled time, however, there is a 10-minute tolerance.
- Failure to show up on the day of departure will result in the total amount of the reservation being forfeited.
