Considered one of the longest streets in the city, it is about 5.5 km long, connecting in a straight line the upper part of the city to the sea!
The São Francisco Xavier Fort is located on the Atlantic Ocean and a short distance from the mouth of the Douro River, and is also known as Castelo do Queijo because, according to tradition, it was built on a rounded granite rock, and with a similar to a cheese.

Its seafront promenade, dotted with terraces, bars and gardens by the sea make this area one of the most sought after in Porto, due to its high refinement.
This viewpoint offers a wide view of the place where the fresh water of the river merges with the salt water of the Atlantic. The sea is on the right, on the left you can see the Arrábida Bridge and in front of Afurada.
Ribeira is one of the oldest and most typical places in Porto!
It is part of the Historic Center of Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
