Itinerary and highlights
The entrance to the old wall of the city. This is where your tour starts and where you step in to a different era. Most of your food stops are located inside.
The Town's Cathedral inside the old wall that dates back to the 13th century. On the way to the food stops you will pass by it.
Surrounding "Vila Adentro", old town Faro, you will find an ancient fortified wall dating back to roman times, more than two thousands old.
The Episcopal Palace, built at the beginning of the 17th century, is without one of the most representative buildings of the “chão” (plain) style in the Algarve. Close-by you can also take in views of the beautiful Ria Formosa Natural Park.

- This your meeting point in Faro, the entrance to the Old Town. Your guide will be near the arch to welcome you. Please be at your meeting point 5 minutes before tour starts. If you are driving here, you can park near the old wall.
