Itinerary and highlights

Meet your new Portuguese friend. No scripts! Learn from native artists sharing the flavors we were raised with and the culture we live by heart.

Visit a century-old tavern and share tables in a tavern where waiters have shouted orders for 40+ years. Taste the soul of a surviving gem!

Stroll where the last elders live. Imagine daily life among steep hills, cable cars, and uneven cobblestones.

Old pots on the table? Honest food! Savor cod, sardines, 'alheira', rice pots... A selection to learn how history & world cultures shaped our cuisine.

"Saúde!": Toast the Portuguese way. Sip Green Wine, 'Imperial' or other drinks with your meals. We'll also stop for 'Ginjinha' in a chocolate cup.

Prepare for sweets, walking 'Baixa'. Walk off the feast in downtown & explore Santa Justa Elevator, Rossio, Rua Augusta, ...

Taste beyond the custard tart. Discover conventual pastries and how monks influenced our baking. Fall in love with two rich, eggy sweet gems.

Close with the "Crown Jewel". Savor an award-winning 'Pastel de Nata' with creamy coffee or tea. The final, warm embrace of our journey.

Carry our local secrets home. Continue exploring Lisbon like a true native with our list of favorite restaurants, bars, sunset spots & more!
