Itinerary and highlights

Luxury and splendour come together in this 18th-century palace, built as a summer residence for the king and known as the “Portuguese Versailles”. A magnificent example of Rococo architecture, rich in elegance and refinement, surrounded by sumptuous gardens that invite you to wander at a leisurely pace.

Enjoy free time to explore the streets of Sintra’s historic centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, at your own pace. Discover this charming and enchanting town, steeped in history and mysticism, once home to kings and queens, lords and baronesses, Moors and Templars.

Take in the endless blue of the Atlantic Ocean at the westernmost point of mainland Europe. Standing nearly 150 metres above sea level, Cabo da Roca Lighthouse, inaugurated in the 18th century, is one of the country’s oldest lighthouses still in operation.

Once a small fishing village, Cascais became a favorite summer retreat for royalty, European elites, and even famous spies during the 19th and 20th centuries. Discover the charm and elegance of this coastal town as you stroll at a leisurely pace along its seaside streets, lined with traditional Portuguese cobblestones, artisan shops, cafés, and restaurants renowned for their fresh seafood and fish.
