Cross the 516 Arouca Suspension Bridge, one of the most iconic attractions in Arouca Geopark. Measuring 516 metres in length and suspended around 175 metres above the Paiva River, the bridge gives a dramatic and unforgettable perspective over the valley.
Continue the Paiva Walkways Toward Espiunca
After the bridge, continue the Paiva Walkways at a steady, photo-friendly pace toward Espiunca River Beach, passing the Vau area along the way. The total walking time is usually around 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours, including the bridge crossing, depending on rhythm and pauses.
